Thobile, a recipient of our Further Studies Scholarship, has finished her first year of university, passing all units except one. Well done to Thobile for overcoming many challenges to continue her quest to become the first child of the Village, and from your family, to get a further studies qualification.
Thobile is entering her second year, studying a Bachelor of Physical Sciences at the University of Pretoria and is very passionate about completing her degree and becoming a Metallurgical Engineer. Thobile found her first year quite hard, from both, an academic and personal perspective, but has worked hard to pass all subjects, except her first semester Chemistry, which will be a big focus for her this year.
